Got some bad news from my former company the other day — the company I started in my basement. Yes, they had a record year in 2011, well over $100M in sales. However, the parent company apparently doesn’t know how to manage a company that is based on innovation, and how to motivate and rally their employees. Unless that changes soon, they may have hit their high-water mark.
